Psykonaut | by bad press

Psykonaut is a dark, poetic visual zine that moves through states of belief, rupture, and transformation. Built around stark black-and-white imagery and fragmented text, recurring motifs of crosses, anatomy, animals, and electric bodies appear across the pages, suggesting devotion and damage in equal measure.

Gothic typography sits beside illustrations of human anatomy and spectral forms, blurring the line between prayer and possession, reverence and surrender. The text is sparse but charged, with phrases that linger, echo, and dissolve rather than explain themselves.
